Time with my cousins!

There is nothing better than spending time with family! From far away cousins in Florida to cousins in Lincoln, I love the time with them all!!!

Yeah! I am clapping on command and when I gets excited about something (after countless hours of working on learning this skill)! This short clip is of me clapping and then I get a little distracted because there are some kids playing on the basketball court. Not even daddy's gentle attempt at refocusing me even helped! :) Good thing I am limber in the neck too! I love you daddy ;)

This summer has been full of fun and growth spurts! Daniella will be 5mo on September 1st and she is weighing in at 18.5lbs! She is also in the 96 percentile for height! She has started rice cereal and has quite the flirty personality (still very feisty during feeding time!) She is rolling over and loves to stand and cruise in her walker. She and brother have snazzy bibs (hers with pearls and lace and his with a tie and flare!) and side by side highchairs for double feeding time to save mom some time!

Brother Dante is standing and playing with toys, moving from and army crawl to a hands and knees crawl. He is making great strides in his fine and gross motor....he is now clapping on command and when he likes something. Cruising all over the house is an understatement. He has not mastered the stairs yet but when he does...Lord help me!

Life with two little ones is crazy but a blessing! They are so cute together and Dante loves to give Daniella kisses (headbutts). She loves to grab on to anything she can so Dante's hair is always a favorite...he gets a kick out of it:) I am so excited (and a tad nervous) to see what full mobility will bring out of these two little ones!

Water Therapy!

Here is another example of my therapy sessions. I go to Water Therapy once a week in Sac at the Easter Seals facility. The purpose of it is to help me build a strong core and engage the muscles needed to start crawling and walking. Eric and I work really hard in these sessions but it feels more like a swim party:) I have been going for 2 months now and I love it!

OT and PT for DD!

Many of you have asked what I do in my therapy sessions so mom videoed an example. I am in my Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy session with Ms. Georgia (on the ball--PT) and Ms. Mandie (OT). Usually they are two appointments but this time, they co-treated so I worked twice as hard. It looks like we are playing but don't kid yourself, I bust my bootie in these appts! :) Sister joins us every week too but usually she is sleeping or mom is feeding her in the other room.

Daniella is growing up so fast!

Well sister is growing so fast. I think she may catch up to me soon. She is already 14lbs and she is only 2 months old! What is mom feeding her??? ;) She is fun though and we really get along well. I do miss having more attention but I guess I can share it with her.

We love visitors!

The Lojocano's came

up for a visit next and the

weather was great! We went to BJ's for lunch and had a pizzookie for dessert (thank you Tanya for ordering the sampler)! It was the best dessert ever. I geeked out over

it and sister, again, slept through most of lunch. Mom was happy about that;)

Dream Night at the Sacramento Zoo

We had a blast at the Sacramento Zoo for Dream Night. The zoo was closed to the public but open to families with Special Needs children/adults. We went and had a great time.....I liked the monkeys, the long necked giraffe and the FREE ICE CREAM! Sister slept for most of the time but that's ok....more ice cream and attention for me! :)

The many moods of Daniella!

Who is the little girl in those cute short shorts (from Auntie Cindy and Auntie Monie)? She is the one and only Daniella Sue. She is a force to be reckoned with.....a super flirt, giggly baby who can also turn on the monster temper tantrum when she is hungry so look out! "Dani Girl" is keeping us on our feet and bringing lots of joy into our hearts with her lovable cooing and happy chuckles.

Say Cheese!!!!

Both me and sister love to pose for pictures and say "cheese" for the camera. I usually get a goofy, cute look on my face when I pose for the camera and sister....well, she can't exactly say "cheese" yet but I bet she is thinking it!

A Day at the Park

Daddy, mommy, sissy and I went to Coyote Pond Park (right by our house) to swing and have fun at the park. We also took Spike with us. I loved playing on the swings, slide and play structure with daddy while mommy cruised sister around the park. She, of course, slept the whole time...I sure hope she does more than eat, poop and sleep! ;)

Before you know it, I will be up and running through the park. I am doing warm water therapy now too once a week so my legs will be super strong!
